Mr. Joseph Davis brings a wealth of international teaching experience, having taught at an International Baccalaureate (IB) School in Taiwan as a PYP teacher and previously serving as an ESL tutor in Poland. His teaching journey began in South Korea, where he lived for six years while completing his Master’s Degree in Operational Management alongside his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science. Joseph holds a teaching license from the Illinois State Board of Education, a CTESOL Level 1 certification, and a SEL certification. Notably, he played a significant role in achieving IB accreditation for Juntou International School in Taiwan.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Joseph is a passionate food enthusiast, deriving joy from exploring diverse culinary experiences. Hailing from a southern state in the USA renowned for its ‘soul food,’ he cherishes the communal bonds and cherished memories associated with food and beverages. Embracing Maya Angelou’s wisdom, Joseph’s teaching philosophy centers on nurturing modern global citizens with a growth mindset and a spirit of adventure. He aims to cultivate collaboration, diversity appreciation, and lifelong curiosity among his students, empowering them to thrive in an ever-changing world.
