Raffles American School band program provides students an opportunity to perform a woodwind, brass, or percussion instrument in a large ensemble setting.  Musicians that have performed in the Concert Band class for at least one year, are then encouraged to audition for the CCA Jazz Band, or form smaller ensembles outside of class such as woodwind trios, brass quartets, and percussion ensembles.  In order to create incredible performances, the students and parents should view band participation as a long-term endeavor, that expands on skills from one year to the next.
