Marc Guillemette is very excited to rekindle his passion for teaching at Raffles American School as their new PreK 3-4 homeroom teacher starting in August 2023. He holds a Bachelor of Education Specializing in Early Years and Special Education. He has been an Early Years teacher for over 12 years having taught in Thailand, China, and Malaysia. He has recently returned from Turkey where he took a year off to complete a project that extends his expertise in reading instruction beyond the classroom, teaching homeschooling parents around the world how to teach their child to read. Marc has an unfailing reputation for creating a nurturing environment whereby students feel honored, appreciated, and respected as dynamic and unique individuals. He is also a professional voice actor, having narrated several children’s books. PreK3-4 story time is going to be very interesting! He is looking forward to meeting new families and inspiring his young learners to reach their greatest potential.
