Yi Wen Phuan is excited to join the Raffles American School team in August 2023. Yi Wen has Bachelor and Doctorate degrees in Chemical Engineering from Monash University. She has more than 10 years of experience in academic and research works. She began her Ph.D. research by working in photoelectrochemical water splitting process in Advance Engineering Platform of Monash University. She has published many international journal and conference articles in the field of materials science and engineering. Shortly after the submission of her Ph.D. thesis, she joined University of Reading Malaysia as a lecturer. In 2018, she joined Xiamen University Malaysia as a chemical engineering lecturer. Yi Wen is known for her patience and ability to connect with students. Her classes are challenging, but also engaging and fun. Yi Wen has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. She also enjoys cooking and baking. She believes in the law of attractions. If you believe it, you can achieve it!
