A Learning Community that Empowers Students to Achieve their Academic and Life Potential.

As a Technology Integration Specialist and Computer Science teacher, Ken works closely with both students and teachers at Raffles American School. Ken helps teachers plan engaging activities which involve technology. He also helps both students and teachers learn skills to help them become more comfortable with new and developing technology trends, tips, and tools.

After-school professional development sessions and one-to-one coaching with teachers are also some of the opportunities that Ken enjoys offering to assist the busy teachers at Raffles American School. As an Apple Distinguished Educator and Google Certified Educator, Ken has pursued annual online and face-to-face training from the engineers at Apple and Google about how students and teachers use technology to learn and achieve their classroom goals.

After earning a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Emporia State University, Ken moved to South Korea where he spent nearly ten years teaching university students, K-12 International school students, public school elementary students, corporate training for large organizations, and teacher training for Korea public school teachers. Ken loves teaching in Asia because of the high priority many families put toward helping their children succeed academically. When not teaching, Ken enjoys learning for fun, reading, bicycling, spending time in nature, and learning more about the history and different cultures within his countries he visits.
