High School Explore Week seeks to utilize the experiences and skills gained from Middle School Explore Week to push their limits of intellectual and physical comfort by traveling further afield and digging deeper into specific areas of interest. High School Explore Week trips will be project based focusing on contemporary global issues driven by an essential question that will guide the activities and curriculum of every trip. A hypothetical trip to Borneo could be guided by the following question: “How is habitat loss in Sabah impacting biodiversity and the economy?” Project-based trips focused on global issues affords students the opportunity to discover and interact with answers to real world questions that inspires learning, curiosity and globally conscious citizens. The answer to each essential question will be guided by our Explore Week Standards that will be implemented into each trips itinerary to help students and organizers answer questions and achieve goals in a way that promotes natural life-long learning.
