A THANKSGIVING TO REMEMBER

The Thanksgiving celebration at RAS wasn’t just about enjoying a delicious meal—it was an opportunity to celebrate our community’s incredible diversity and unity. We set out to create a moment where our diverse team could come together, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company.

Learning About Each Other’s Background and Culture

Our international staff and teachers were all invited to enjoy a thoughtfully prepared meal rich with flavors. As we gathered, we learned a great deal about each other’s backgrounds—not just from the food but also from the stories shared during each conversation, sparking a sense of connection and understanding.

Building Connections Beyond Work

The vibrant yet informal atmosphere provided the perfect setting to build stronger relationships. Away from the classroom or office, as we shared laughter over pumpkin pie, watched some American football, swapped stories, and bonded over the universal joys of good food and great company.

The Joy of Community

Perhaps the most memorable part of the day was simply enjoying each other’s company. There was no agenda, no rushing to the next task and it reminds us that, in our fast-paced world, we often forget the importance of slowing down and enjoying the people around us.
