Unrestricted screen use detracts from a student’s most fundamental developmental needs. Constant digital stimulation draws attention away from the immediate environment, limiting a student’s ability to observe, reflect, and construct independent thoughts. True learning requires quiet moments of contemplation and the space to construct one’s own deep understanding; screens often interrupt these internal processes.
