Mr. Nathaniel Mitchell teaches mathematics with a focus on calculus, having studied the subject extensively at the University of Warwick before teaching it at senior high school level in the UK. He has also taught math and English at two schools in Bangkok, Thailand, working with secondary and elementary students. Since joining Raffles American School, he has adapted to the American curriculum, helping his students achieve above the global average on their AP exams. He holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics, a PGCE, and QTS, and encourages students to bring their own ideas to problem-solving and to become reflective, independent learners.
