Yew received a Bachelor of Education with Honours from Sultan Idris Education University. After 3 decades in the classroom, Yew still has an incessant enthusiasm for teaching.  She has a wide range of primary and secondary school teaching experience, within both government and international institutions. Yew is always seeking new ideas for 21st-century teaching and learning practices and enjoys seeing each student grow and change positively. For her, the ultimate goal of teaching is to not only facilitate the growth of students within her subject but also their growth to become better people.
