Megan Fortuné holds a Master’s Degree in Education in Children’s Literature Literacies from the University of Glasgow (UK). She has over ten (10) years of experience teaching English as a Foreign Language and Language Arts, as well as facilitating Learning Support for students with Special Education needs. Megan also acquired tertiary academic qualifications and training in the fields of Business and Hospitality (Switzerland) and International Relations (Trinidad); however, a serendipitous job opportunity as a Teaching Assistant at the International School of Port of Spain, Trinidad Tobago changed her life forever. She is thrilled to be joining the Raffles team in August 2021 as a Secondary English Teacher. Megan thoroughly enjoys working with teenage learners and is committed to creating safe, engaging educational spaces so that her students feel empowered to actively pursue learning opportunities to achieve their best possible academic and individual goals.
