I was born and raised in South Africa, and obtained my Bachelor of Education (FET) Cum Laude at the University of Johannesburg in South Africa in 2009; specializing in English Literature. I have always had a passion for youth and for Education, and throughout college I participated in community programs that focused on youth development and community service. I have 10 years of teaching experience, focused on English Language Arts and Historical Studies. In 2015 my family moved to Casablanca, Morocco where we have been teaching at a trilingual school with an American Curriculum. My experience in South Africa and Morocco has taught me the importance of differentiation in learning, and focused learning to help all students become confident English Language Learners. My husband and I feel privileged to raise our own children in an international environment and are thankful to be part of an international community as we explore other countries and learn about food, language and people.
