Jen Lonn graduated from the University of Wales Cardiff with a degree in Music. She gained both her PGCE and her Masters in Music Education at the University of Reading, UK. The focus of Jen’s research paper for her masters was the positive impact that singing has on children’s well-being, which has continued to be an area of interest for her. Before coming to Malaysia, Jen had been teaching in the UK for ten years; she taught in successful Music departments in both state and private schools. Jen believes that creating positive, work-focused relationships with students is the key to great teaching and learning. She loves creating opportunities for her students to share their talents with the community, and she prides herself on her infectious enthusiasm for music! You can find Jen at the pool or the beach on the weekends – she loves to swim!
