Ann is native to Malaysia and has studied Dietetics in Iowa State University. She was given the opportunity to work in New York for a year, which opened her eyes to the dynamic world of Food Services Management.
There, Ann picked up the knowledges of developing nutritious foods that fit the modern palette. This reinvigorated her passion for food and health, which was initially developed within her as a child. Ann’s family own a well-known restaurant within the central hub of Johor Bahru. The food standards her parents had instilled is a contributor towards her sensitivity toward the importance of eating well and being healthy.
At RAS, Ann has the goal of preparing delectable options for our parents at our parent café. She will also be reviewing and adding new elements to our school cafeteria menu, doing her absolute best to ensure the food prepared for our school community is of top quality.
