World Scholars Cup

Description: The World Scholar’s Cup has grown significantly in recent years to become an international event with more than 15,000 students participating across
50 countries. The event is an inclusive enrichment experience in which students of all backgrounds work together to explore new subjects and practise new skills. Students will participate in Team Debates, Collaborative Writing, Scholar’s Bowl and Scholar’s Challenge.

Classical Ballet

Description:In level Pre Ballet, we will train classical ballet posture, ballet technique, sense of rhythms and also a simple dance.
We also will do stretching and cool down exercise in every lesson.

Wushu
Supervisor: Zen Wushu Academy
Description: Wushu, which is also referred to as Kung-Fu, is the collective term for the martial art practices that originated and developed in China, and Wushu is the wellspring of all Asian martial practices. Over its long history, Wushu has developed into numerous distinct styles and systems, each incorporating their own techniques, tactics, principles and methods, as well as the use of a wide variety of traditional weaponry. The differing styles that have emerged focus on many aspects of combat, but more importantly they have absorbed the popular philosophies and moral practices of the people in China over the past 5000 years of development. With that, Wushu has developed into more than just a simple system of attack and defense and has become a way to cultivate the body, mind, and spirit in a positive way that is beneficial to all that practice it.

Description:Little Kickers is a football program from the UK designed especially for kids for younger age students. We are the home of preschool and kids football. Little Kickers was started in the UK in 2002 by Christine Stanschus and has been a global brand now available in many countries including Malaysia. Firstly, we believe in something we call “Play not Push”. It means teaching football in a fun and pressure-free environment. We want to give children a positive introduction to sport as a whole, not just football, so they’re more likely to stay healthy and active throughout their lives. Secondly, we believe football can be educational. Coached in the right way it can stimulate imagination and aid early development skills such as learning colours and numbers, following instructions and playing as a team. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Description: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling-based martial art using takedowns, leverage, and joint manipulations where participants execute practical techniques to intelligently overcome aggressive opponents; focus on discipline, self-defense and personal development. Participants must wear the Gi (uniform & belt) to learn the basics, which will be provided at a cost. Children are taught the fundamentals of BJJ and introduction to BJJ competition.

Description:Beginner Tennis is for students with little to no experience playing tennis. Elementary Swim Team

Description:The Aqua Raptors swim team is only for students that can demonstrate proper form for all four strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly) and are interested in swimming competitions. Swim Team is open to students 6th – 12th grade, and all swimming speeds are welcome. Aqua Raptors swimmers are expected to attend practice at least 2 days a week.
*Swimmers who cannot show proficiency in swimming will be asked to attend Learn to Swim activity

Description: The students playing for the RAS Elementary (Under 9 and Under 11) Basketball Team will improve their basketball skills during fun and engaging practices. Taekwondo develops child’s athletic abilities and self-awareness, and improves the child’s capabilities in self-defense.

Description: Muay Boran is the traditional form of the Thai martial art Muay Thai. Martial arts, such as Muay Boran, are a great foundation for all young children to begin developing motor skills that will prepare them later in life for all exercises and sport.

The hardware is the Arduino Uno whereby students may do coding to make interesting projects from the Arduino. Projects can be made with LEDs, Servo motor, Sensors, arduino board and some recycled materials.
